Driveways & Parking
The standard space for a vehicle on your property is 10 feet wide by 20 feet long, this will allow for the parking space with doors open on a standard vehicle; Larger SUV’s will require a larger area.
A standard two-car garage / parking pad is 22 feet by 22 feet, which is barely enough room for two parked vehicles.Allow an additional two feet on either side of the parking pad for people to exit the vehicles without stepping on your plantings.
Recycled Concrete aggregate ¾” to ½ “ minus can be bordered by pavers, bricks, landscape ties or consider a rain garden to increase the filtration rate of rain water back into the aquifer.

- The minimum width of a driveway is twelve feet for standard car parking.
The minimum curve for a driveway is a 17 foot radius (to the inside curve).
Circular driveways need a minimum of (80) eighty feet in the direction parallel to the house and (75) seventy-five feet in the perpendicular direction.
The minimum radius for a circular drive is eighteen feet to the inside curve.
Walkways:
A width of six feet is nice for two people to walk side by side on a pathway. If an access is needed for wheel chairs, a ramp that has a rise of 8.33% will meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
